What it costs
Pay per booking, with no subscription. When you book a carer, the payment is held and released once the visit is confirmed. If a booking is cancelled, no-show, or a compliance check fails, you're refunded within 3 working days. Cancellation charges follow a tiered notice scale, shown before you confirm.

Carers on Shiftium are self-employed professionals you engage directly. Shiftium runs the checks, the profiles and the payments, and gives you a route to raise a concern or dispute, but does not employ or supervise the carer.
